Bulls fortsätter fighten för slå sig in som en av Sveriges bästa klubbar, detta görs med det samarbete som Narva boxningsklubb & Bulls inledde för 3 år sedan. Detta år tränas våra tjurar av ingen mindre än Roger Pettersson, en av sin tids stora boxare (över 300 matcher, aldrig blivit knockad, & boxats i 4 VM & 1 OS). Vi ser fram emot att se våra tjurar utveckla sin fys & snabbhet under Roger’s vingar

David (översta bilden)kommer senast från spel i Dif och innan det Luleå Eskimås, David kommer att fightas om en plats som OLB

Senior Captains 2012

J.P. Lannefors (Defensive Line) and Michael Sander (Receiver) have been elected 2012 captains by their teammates and coaching staff. “I look forward to working with these two over the next few months and throughout the season. I believe they both possess the qualities needed to become great leaders and my hope is that they will be able to lead our senior team to great things for the next several years.

Coach’s Corner 12/

2012 football season got under way last night at Boson. U19 & Seniors met for the first time and performed some sprint work with our guest Cameron. I think what we learned last night is an important phase of our development as athletes. We will meet Saturday for our first session of boxing which is always a good time and a great workout. Over the next several weeks we will focus on speed, agility, quickness training while incorporating some football specific work getting ready for the fast-approaching season. Spirits are high, and the work ethic has been good.

Weight Training

We had a great day Saturday at Boson and a good turnout for our first ever Weight Training Day. Our offseason lifting program starts on Monday and this was a great way to “kickoff” this part of the offseason. Big thanks to everyone who helped out and attended. Bulls U19 tar SM-silver

Under åren 2006-2008 var Bulls U19 ett återkommande lag i SM-sammanhang. Iår återupprepades den historien då man återigen var i SM-final. Tyresö Royal Crowns stod för motståndet denna gång. Efter en oerhört tight match gick TRC segrande ur bataljen. Bulls fick istället fira att man tagit ett SM-silver och återigen startat traditionen av att vara i SM-final i många år framöver.

Coach’s Corner 27/9

2011 Season has concluded with a nice victory against Limhamn. We were able to get everybody some good playing time and it was a very nice way to finish our year.
The senior team came into the year with high hopes of Superseries finals, we didn´t accomplish that goal but we learned a lot along the way. I think the league was stronger this year compared to 2010 and we have to always remember that our competition is working and improving so we just need to push ourselves a little harder for next season.

One of the highlights for the club this season was the U19 team making it to the finals only to lose in a very tight game. Only last season that squad failed to complete the regular season due to a lack of players. What an improvement, good job guys!

Our focus turns now to organizing the team banquet, off season workouts, and evaluating everything for the 2012 season. This is always an exciting period, as players are given the chance re-energize and put their attention to making physical gains. It will be an important time for me to evaluate the areas in need of improvement and find solutions.

Thanks to all the Bulls supporters that made 2011 an enjoyable year!

Preview vs Arlanda Jets

It doesn’t seem like 8 months ago the 2011 football season started and now we made it to the final weekend of our season and face Limhamn Saturday at Bergshamra for a 4 P.M. game. We have had a tough time picking up wins in this second part of our season. There is no excuses, we are where we are in the standings and while it’s disappointing not making the playoffs we still have a group of guys that want to play football Saturday and finish the season on a high note. Limhamn is a quality team with several good football players on their roster and they will be excited to try to get a win versus a Superseries team. They are known to spread the field with receivers, throw the ball and we’ll have to stop their athletic Qb from making plays. Defensively they like to get after the Qb with a penetrating defense.

We have had another player leave the team to pursue football on another continent, we will miss Peder Jungstedt in our secondary this week as he has gone to Australia for the next 6 months.

For us to win we are going to need our defense to get a strong pass rush and get good coverage from our LB’s and Db’s. Offensively we will be looking to test their pass defense and use formations to create good running lanes for our backs. We are really looking forward to have another home game and a chance to get back that winning feeling.
