Great win for our club last weekend versus Arlanda. It was a tight game with a lot on the line and it is too bad that there had to be a loser. Our defense stepped up their game and were able to defend Arlanda’s powerful running game. We played well offensively in the first half and our passing game was clicking. The second half started and Arlanda’s defense forced us to make some turnovers. Overall, it was a good team effort and we have reached a goal we set during preseason: Make it to the Playoffs.
This week we travel to Carlstad to play the last game of the regular season. If we win, we finish the Series in 3rd and play Stockholm in the Semis. If we lose, we must return to Carlstad to play them in the Semis. We will expect Carlstad to show up ready to win and we will do our best to give them a good game.
There really is no special strategy going into this one…..We will play the guys we have that are healthy and run the plays we have been running all season. We will test ourselves against the best team in Sweden and look forward to the challenge.
